About the role

We're looking for a Content Marketing Lead to establish Takeoff as the thought leader in AI-powered sales. You'll craft the narrative around how AI is transforming sales, educate the market on voice AI capabilities, and build a content engine that drives inbound growth. This role requires exceptional writing skills, deep understanding of B2B marketing, and the ability to translate complex technology into compelling stories. You'll own our content strategy across all channels and build a voice that resonates with sales leaders and technical buyers alike. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B SaaS content marketing, a track record of driving organic growth, and the ability to create content that both educates and converts.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with growth goals
  • Create high-quality content across all formats (blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos)
  • Build thought leadership through executive ghostwriting and industry publications
  • Develop educational content that helps buyers understand AI sales technology
  • Create sales enablement materials and customer success stories
  • Manage content calendar and coordinate with product launches
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers and publications
  • Optimize content for SEO and organic traffic growth
  • Measure content performance and iterate based on data
  • Collaborate with design team on visual storytelling

What we're looking for

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth through content
  • Understanding of SEO, content distribution, and marketing analytics
  • Experience with marketing automation and CMS platforms
  • Ability to understand and write about technical topics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with sales teams and understanding buyer journeys
  • Data-driven approach to content strategy and optimization
  • Self-starter who can work independently and drive results

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience in B2B SaaS
  • Experience in AI/ML or sales technology markets
  • Background in journalism or technical writing
  • Video production and podcast experience
  • Speaking experience at conferences or webinars
  • Experience building and managing content teams
  • Understanding of developer marketing and technical audiences
  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup

Work Environment

As an early-stage company building at the frontier of AI, we work with high intensity and commitment. While schedules can vary by role and team, many weeks will demand extra focus, flexibility, and time—particularly during major launches and high-impact sprints. We're seeking those who are aligned to and able to commit to that expectation, which includes 5 days per week in our San Francisco office.
